The Big Room at Woodcrest is 16 x 30 with a 15 vaulted ceiling of all wood. We have installed a cloud sound damper suspended on a ceiling pulley system so its height and angle is adjustable in seconds.
This allows us to rapidly change a source's immediate area ambiance to get a focused, punchy, in your face sound, an open, roomy live sound to a huge powerful drum sound, and everything in between. This also supports quick altering of overall room ambiance decay.
Woodcrest has had sound panels for quite some time, but now we have versatility and speed to change it in between your songs for ultra-dynamic albums because real room acoustics matter. |
